Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with Silk Ruute. Here are a few things you need to know about how we package, ship, and deliver your purchase(s).

Packaging

  • We pride ourselves on the quality of our packaging.
  • Once our system processes orders, they are inspected thoroughly to ensure items are in perfect condition.
  • After orders pass our final round of quality checks, they are packaged individually in transparent poly bag.
  • The product one or more is packed in standard online shipping poly bag to keep the products safe in any kind of handling scenario.

Shipping

  • We usually dispatch most orders within one to four (1 to 3) business days (excluding Sundays and public holidays).
  • The status of your package(s) can be tracked 24 hours after your order is dispatched from our warehouse.
  • Have you ordered multiple items? That’s great! Here’s how we ship them:
    • Your order of multiple products will be shipped together and at the same time.
    • Sometimes, we might need to ship in separate lots, but don’t worry! This is very normal.
    • It simply means that different parts of your order may have been shipped from different warehouse locations.
    • Rest assured, you won’t be charged extra for shipping—when you place your order.

Shipping rates

  • We accept all orders.
  • Shipping charges within India:
    • No charge is applied on prepaid orders of any kind.
    • INR 49.00 is applied on COD orders.
    • The above charges are valid for most addresses in India.
  • Shipping charges, if any, are not refundable in case of return or cancellation of the product or order.
  • Shipping charges may be modified by Silk Ruute at any point without prior intimation; if there are new charges, they will reflect on the product page and in the checkout process.

Delivery

  • Our team coordinates with delivery partners to ensure the fastest possible delivery
  • Our trusted courier partner includes:
    • iThink Logistics
  • Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email/ text message with the details of the tracking number and the courier company that is processing your order.
  • In case these partners are unable to reach your provided address at a convenient date and time, they will contact you directly to resolve the issue

Exceptions

  • Though we keep all of our catalogue in our inventory, we make individual product inspections at the time of shipping to ensure best quality, if for any reason the product is not 100% in quality we may ask for more time to dispatch certain items. While we try our best to avoid this situation, these products might delay your order
  • If you are ordering our products from a Mega Sale event or peak season, dispatches may be delayed due to increased volumes.
